After the killer strikes again only days later, DCI Peter Moone and DI Mandy Butler find themselves investigating a series of brutal murders committed by a woman-hating serial killer who might be posing as a handyman.

Not only do Butler and Moone have to find the handyman killer as he goes on a rampage, but they also have to try and stop the psychotic DS Faith Carthew as she once again strives to rise up the ranks and become their boss.

When Carthew makes a deal with a dangerous criminal motorcycle gang, it becomes clear to Moone that she also has a career in violent crime in mind and that no one’s safe, not even his team.

He knows she must be stopped by any means necessary before it’s too late…
