Spoken Cree Level 3

This volume of Spoken Cree by C. Douglas Ellis is the last of three levels in a complete Cree language course, based on the "N" and "L" dialects spoken west of James Bay.
Spoken Cree, Level III is continuing to build on the knowledge of the Cree language established in Spoken Cree, Level I and II. While increased facility in handling grammatical features and developing ease in speaking remains a major goal, attention is also directed to Cree social issues and literary tradition, both oral and written, including fluency with syllabics. Level III also provides an introduction to the challenges of translation, not only from language to language but from culture to culture.
